The percentage of the population, who believe in the existence of reincarnation, is only twenty five. This does not mean reincarnation is not real. Haven’t you ever discovered a hidden talent or may an inclination towards ’something’ and couldn’t explain it away. You know what I mean. I’m referring to. When there is a pull (strong feeling of connection) towards something we cannot explain. It could be simply something important from a past life.

Unfortunately many people overlook this possibility or ignore the validity of it and by doing so miss the opportunity to truly grow as a person and find out who they are today and why. What you don’t realize is that by not getting in touch with past lives you could very well be hindering your own success and personal achievement.

Extensive research into past life regression has become a very powerful tool and helps with the emotionally disturbed individuals treatment.

A benefit of life regression, and one of the most important is the healing of trauma and its clearing. We can make one of two choice when encountering trauma. One try and change it or two face it head on and heal it. Talking of life regression and when faced with trauma there is an option of rescuing the past self to move forward now and where the trauma is viewed by a higher self, as a whole.

Contacting our creative sides is possible with the help of past life regression. Without exception, everyone is imbued with many talents and abilities which can help with guiding them in making choices and dealing with situations that they experience throughout their life. Going back into past lives with life regression makes it possible to bring these abilities forward to use as a inner guide.

Karma means simply that what you do today or in the past (bad or good) will come back to you in the present. Past life regression can help you to redo an agreement or contract of the past with an individual involved at the time. However, you need to go back to the time of the creation of the original agreement, promise or contract in order to free yourself of the original document. Then you can come to a decision, do you want to atone or perhaps see if the agreement can be changed or modified to help you in your current situation. Most often this is accomplished with the help of the Inner Guide.

The benefit of going through past life regression is significant and that is the grounding and the affirming of self.

Those who do go back to a past life using regression want to feel grounded and this is not uncommon. They also become more aware of their individuality and as a person. They are now more aware that they have some connections, talents, abilities, characteristics and desires and this is a fact. This information they have received gives them the reason for their abilities and talents, enabling them to accept the situation and to begin living a more complete and balanced life.

In the field of past life regression, experts all agree that when a person practices life regression they can improve and further enhance their life. You will remember your lives in the past with past life regression and enable you to live a more fulfilled life in the present.

You think you experience feelings of simple figments of imagination, but a catharsis will begin, opening your mind, breaking down barriers that are blocking your achievement efforts giving you the ability to achieve everything you want in your life.

Lets recap briefly the benefits to you from life regression, including the ability to deal with traumatic situations of the past, enabling the move forward in the present. By dealing with the issues of past lives enables you to better deal with making better decisions presently, using experience we have had in the past.

Knowing the history of past lives enables you to avoid the same mistakes in the present. It is a truth of your personal life and also world wide. Knowledge of any wrong doings in the past and having possibly paid the price can help you change and improve your present life for the better.

Knowledge gained from past life regression is the most important benefit and is a fact. You will understand better who you are and the reason you are, who you are. The opportunity for a compete and balanced life is yours for the taking. Take full advantage of all your talents, skills and abilities to live to your fullest potential. Now you are aware of abilities, talents and skill you never knew you had, use them to the fullest

Recent astronomy articles appear all over the Internet and in magazines dedicated to the science and the hobby. When new images are taken, people write about it. When space agencies announce missions, people write. Every new discovery and piece of information generates a tremendous amount of discussion. Here’s just some of the most recent articles on astronomy.

Something as simple as bumpy space dust generated a great deal of interest and a lot of the recent astronomy articles. Why is this important? Scientists have long known that hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. But hydrogen has to bond to form the larger molecules observed in the universe. In the cold of space it takes the right medium to complete the bond. Bumpy molecules provide that medium, so now scientists have verified a theory on how hydrogen forms molecules in space. Bumpy dusty, who would have thought it.

One of Saturn’s moons is known as the Death Star. It’s a huge crater that makes it look like the movie menace. In August 2008 it became a subject of many recent astronomy articles when the Cassini spacecraft passed near the moon, Mimas. New photos and information were gathered. Folks loved to see this news. This information will help shed light on the number of impact objects that pass through Saturn’s orbit. There’s still a lot to learn about traffic through the solar system, and how the giants Jupiter and Saturn help keep things clear.

Dark matter is something scientists have known about for years. It’s not well understood how it helps the universe expand. In 2008 a number of the recent astronomy articles were dedicated to the search for and analysis of dark matter. SNAP, the SuperNova/Acceleration Probe, was planned to help solve dark matter by examining many distant supernovae. Dark matter makes up about 70% of the matter in the universe, so learning about it is important.

Before our sun was really a star it was a condensing mass of space matter called a protosun. But scientists wondered if this protosun emitted any heat or light or a solar wind enough to effect the formation of life on Earth. Recent astronomy article answers this question with a resounding yes. Scientists have used new techniques to discover that the protosun did indeed emit ultraviolet and other particles in an early form of the solar wind. These emissions helped form life on Earth even before the sun was a sun.

Search engines like Google can help people keep up on recent astronomy articles.

Astronomy hasn’t always been a science, it was at one time more closely connected to astrology than it currently is. But over time theories were tested and recorded by men who wanted answers. This included men like Isaac Newton who realized our sun was a star like any other, and even Ptolemy who way back in 100AD realized our Earth was part of a planetary system. The universe is infinite, which means astronomy is infinite. Therefore it becomes necessary to specialize in one small part of astronomy. Let’s pick a constellation, Pisces, and discuss Pisces constellation astronomy.

How can there be a whole discussion of a constellation and its astronomy? A constellation isn’t just some figure in the night sky. Every constellation contains a number of interstellar objects and phenomenon including stars, nebulae, and even entire galaxies. Pisces, for example, contains very few bright stars but does contain a unique galaxy from our point of view. Galaxy NGC629, or M74, is a spiral galaxy like our own Milky Way, and we can see its facing side. That means we see it from the top, from a perspective that shows its spiral arms reaching out into space. To us it looks like a spiral someone might draw. That doesn’t mean we can view it unaided. Even with a hobbyist’s telescope it would look like a tiny, blurred spot. But with a telescope of 12 inches aperture or more the spiral details will be visible.

Another unique feature of Pisces constellation astronomy is that an important part of the Sun’s path passes through Pisces today, where it did not when the constellations were first mapped. The first point of Aries is the point where the sun crosses the equator on its way North. This happens at the Vernal Equinox, the first day of spring for the Northern hemisphere of the planet. When the First Point of Aries was established in ancient times it was east of Pisces. But over the years it has moved west into Pisces. This is an example precession, the movement of stars and objects in relation to Earth. It happens, of course, because none of these objects are stationary, and neither is the Earth. Our sun and our galaxy are moving at incredible speeds. The sun and solar system, for example, move at about 220 kilometers per second around the center of the galaxy. In all of human history, the solar system has moved 1/1250th of a complete revolution. Not only is the solar system moving, but so is the galaxy itself as well as every object in the night sky. So the constellations are always moving and changing. Pisces and the First Point of Aries are a great example of this.

See how interesting Pisces constellation astronomy can be?

There was a time when astronomy, and in fact all science, was a mixture of strange ideas and even superstition along with any real provable ideas. But stalwart men of science continued to look up into the night sky and consider the universe beyond the world upon which they stood. These were men such as Isaac Newton, who recognized that other stars are suns just like ours, Galileo who first used a telescope to gaze into the heavens, and even people as far back as Ptolemy who formulated the geocentric planetary system around 100 AD. The universe is infinite, which means astronomy is infinite. So a choice has to be made to zero in on a smaller sub-set of astronomy. Let’s pick a constellation, Pisces, and discuss Pisces constellation astronomy.

That means we see it from the top, from a perspective that shows its spiral arms reaching out into space. It looks like a spiral to observers from Earth, in other words. Not with the naked eye, of course. And through most amateur telescopes it would appear as little more than a blurry spot. But with a telescope of 12 inches aperture or more the spiral details will be visible.

Another unique feature of Pisces constellation astronomy is that an important part of the Sun’s path passes through Pisces today, where it did not when the constellations were first mapped.

A scientific dictionary is a niche product. Scientists find it very useful. There are many different categories, or types, of these dictionaries. They cover all the sciences from biology, chemistry, to physics and in others. Let’s take a look at some of them.

One scientific dictionary is found on line. It’s called Kimball’s Biology Pages. It includes a search engine as well as an alphabetic list. The alphabetic list leads to many index pages each one about a different subject. Let’s look at one of these.

In this online scientific dictionary the letter z index page includes as zygotene. That’s the name given to a process by which cells separate into chromosomes inside the nucleus. This only happens in some cells. The cell must be encased within a membrane.

The scientific dictionary also contains information about chimera. This is also called a genetic mosaic. This is the creation when two different early embryos are combined into one. This process has been known to occur in humans. The name comes from the Greek monster. It had a lion’s head, a goat’s body and a serpent’s tail.

The scientific dictionary chimera is not the chimera of mythology. It was a native of Lycia in Asia minor. Homer wrote about it in the Iliad. This creature could also breathe fire. In some stories it had three heads, one each of the lion, goat, and serpent.

The chimera’s sibling monster won’t be found in the scientific dictionary either. It was the Hydra. This was another creature with multiple heads. Hercules faced one of them. When one head was cut off, two more would grow instantly in its place. Needless to say it was very difficult to kill.

A scientific dictionary might also teach math to kids. The online version includes interactive and animated displays. There’s a lot of good knowledge to be gained from it. One thing it mentions is an acute angle. It’s an angle that’s less than 90°. A cartoon pelican demonstrates the concept with its beak.

This math scientific dictionary for kids also demonstrates area. That’s how much space something uses. To show this kids can drag various shapes over a grid and then count the number of squares taken up by the shape. It shows the grid both in metric and standard units.

The possibilities are endless. Chances are if you’re a scientist, or interested in science, you will find use in a scientific dictionary.

A scientific dictionary is a niche product. It provides a lot of information for scientists. There are many different kinds of dictionaries of this nature. They cover all the sciences from biology, chemistry, to physics and in others. Let’s take a look at some of them.

There’s a good scientific dictionary on the Internet. The name is Kimball’s Biology Pages. It organizes information both alphabetically and via a search. The alphabetic list leads to many index pages each one about a different subject. Let’s look at one of them.

But chimera of mythology is not the same as the one found in the scientific dictionary. It was a native of Lycia in Asia minor. Homer wrote about it in the Iliad. This creature could also breathe fire. In some stories it had three heads, one each of the lion, goat, and serpent.

Galileo was born in Pisa, Italy in the late 1500’s. He eventually became a mathematics teacher despite having no degree, and it was here that his famous future was first hinted. Galileo the math teacher made his first step into Galileo Galilei astronomy when he demonstrated to his students that Aristotle was wrong about object of different weights falling at different speeds. He wasn’t invited back to teach, and so moved to a position at the University of Padua. Galileo contributions to astronomy would come to fruition there.

In Padua, Galileo invented the compass and began studying physics. He discovered the law of falling bodies and the parabolic path of projectiles. These became very important in later Galileo Galilei astronomy. But at the time Galileo claimed to have no interest in the subject other than that he believed the work of Copernicus rather than that of Aristotle and Ptolemy. Copernicus had proposed that the solar system is heliocentric, that is that the planets rotate around the sun. Aristotle and Ptolemy held that the solar system was centered around the Earth, and even the sun rotated around our home. The model Copernicus proposed for the order of planets around the sun has been proven. And today we know Copernicus was completely correct.

Shortly after the spyglass was invented in Holland Galileo decided to make his own for peering at the night sky. This telescope magnified objects 20 times, which was enough to make out craters and mountains on the moon. Galileo also determined that individual stars made up what was called the Milky Way. He went on to discover Jupiter’s four largest moons. These discoveries brought him fame enough to earn the position of Florence’s court mathematician. Now he could devote full time to his studies. It took him only 9 months to discover Saturn’s phases. This was another nail in the coffin for Ptolemy’s and Aristotle’s ideas about the solar system.

Galileo most disagreed with Aristotle. Galileo found a great deal of support with other modern scientists who wrote of his work. But because Aristotle’s work elevated man to key position in all the universe, the church supported his work. In 1614 a priest in Florence denounced Galileo Galilei Astronomy. Galileo responded by writing a letter proclaiming the bible irrelevant to science. In 1616 the church censored Galileo’s books, and a cardinal instructed him to stop teaching that the Earth moves. Respecting the church’s authority, or perhaps only its ability to enforce it, Galileo did as he was told, turning back to other interests. It is said that Galileo had one comment after signing an agreement that the Earth does not move. “I would say here something that was heard from an ecclesiastic of the most eminent degree; “And yet … it moves.”

Incredible as it may be, there is about 90% of our brains which go unused. Just imagine the possibilities which would be opened up by being able to use this vast untapped potential source of mindpower. The possibilities are hard to imagine, but all of us have a lot of psychic potential which is going unused and the results of using this could be amazing.

In fact it has long been thought by scientists that people with all types of extra sensory and psychic powers have these powers because they are able to access different parts of their mind from other people. It seems that they were either born with this increased mindpower or have managed to develop this mindpower in later life.

How these abilities are developed and used is not entirely understood yet, but there is still research being done into discovering how these psychic abilities and mindpower can be developed in order to realize our true potential and change our reality.

In fact recent scientific studies are starting to verify what the ancient religions have been saying for thousands of years, that reality is merely a product of your mind, and if you change the way you think, then you can change your reality – mindpower is in fact the only reality!

Popular books about the law of attraction like ‘The Secret’ show how humans have the ability to use their own mind power to change their lives and even the world they live in.

The law of attraction is all about cause and effect. The principle holds that our thoughts have no less of an effect than our physical actions and that focused thoughts can attract outcomes to us.

Through our subconscious minds, we can use our mindpower to channel the universe’s energy and tap into our natural psychic abilities; the subconscious is a very powerful thing.

The way to build your mindpower is to start communicating between your conscious and subconscious mind. There are a number of methods which you can mean to build this link and develop mindpower through allowing access to the subconscious.

Affirmations:- Most people know about the simple process of affirmations. By repeating a positive phrase, to yourself several times a day your subconscious mind eventually gets the message!

So if someone needed more self esteem for example, they would keep repeating to themselves at various times throughout the day something like: ‘I am a confident person’ ‘I deserve to be happy’ etc. Or they may wish to change a bad habit which would involve them repeating to themselves: ‘I always eat sensibly’ or ‘I no longer feel the need for a cigarette’.

Affirmations eventually sink into the subconscious mind when repeated. Your subconscious then influences your behavior to bring about the desired result.

So just take this a stage further and realize that anything you want to change will change; not just your behavioral habits but absolutely everything in your reality. This is mindpower!

Visualization:- You can also develop your mindpower using visualization. Visualization consists of closing your eyes and picturing the things you want to happen in your mind’s eye. Your subconscious mind responds to the images which you focus your thoughts on and begins using your mindpower to make them a reality. You can visualize anything you want and with practice, you’ll increase your mindpower and make it possible.

Visualization is a powerful technique for building up mindpower and bringing latent psychic abilities to the surface. When you visualize being able to use your psychic abilities, they will be strengthened and your mindpower will be developed so that you’ll have access to your natural abilities.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis is another well known way of communicating with your subconscious mind and helping to develop mindpower. If you visit a professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist they will start by making sure you are totally relaxed and then offer suggestions to your subconscious mind which it will remember when you wake up.

You can also use self hypnosis by listening to a recording of a hypnotherapy session. Not only s this less costly than seeing a hypnotherapist, but you can use this recording over and over again as needed.

Brainwave entrainment:- Brainwave entrainment uses new breakthroughs in audio technology. Certain frequencies attune your brainwaves resulting in many different benefits such as pain relief and improved memory.

Other frequencies can assist you to get into a state of meditation very quickly to allow communication with your subconscious mind and therefore the development of your mindpower to take place.

Other frequencies can stimulate the parts of your body known as the chakra energy centers. There is a chakra in the center of your forehead called the third eye chakra which is responsible for psychic powers.

Each and every one of us has psychic abilities naturally. These abilities normally stay in the subconscious mind and are not used. However, with the right techniques, your mindpower can be developed to the point where these latent abilities come to the surface and can be used.

It’s really more accurate to say that we unlock our mindpower more than we develop it. The 10% of our minds which we use everyday can accomplish a lot – but just imagine all of the possibilities that using the other 90% can make a reality.

Astronomy, at times, can be like a sport. It’s fun to watch what’s going on day after day, reading the magazines and web site articles for all the current events in astronomy. Big things happen nearly every day. That includes new images brought in from satellites and telescopes, new discoveries about the nature of planets and stars and other objects, as well as breakthroughs and just every day small progress in the tools and techniques used to make these discoveries.

One of the best places to keep up with current events in astronomy is NASA’s web site. Not only does NASA make a lot of the news, but it constantly keeps its site updated with news of the latest and greatest about space and objects within it. A quick look at NASA’s web site in mid November revealed some pretty big current events in astronomy.

One of the most important current events in astronomy NASA discussed in November 2008 was the late month launch of the shuttle Endeavour. It’s mission was to re-supply and repair the International Space Station. This included a number of space walks to perform routine maintenance on the outside of the station. Such space walks aren’t only immediately important for the goals they accomplish, but important in the development of techniques and experiences that apply to future missions. While some might argue that the space station is more space related than necessarily astronomy related, there is a lot of science going on there, including observations of outer space which definitely falls under the heading of astronomy.

Another astronomy current event discussed by NASA in November was a staggering discovery made by the Hubble Telescope. For the first time in history, a telescope took a visible light image of a planet orbiting another star. Back in the early 1980s an infrared telescope called IRAS saw dust around the star. That was a tell tale sign that planets might orbit this star located about 25 light years away from our own little planet.

In astronomy, current events in astronomy can cover the past. Images of the moon taken in 1966 and 1967 are being restored in the Lunar Orbiter Image Recovery Project. Much of the data was removed from the tape drives in the 1980’s, but stored as analogue images and only partially restored. NASA has already shown off some of these images.

Astronomy, like the Universe, is huge. Current events in astronomy could cover volumes each day. Always looked to the sky!
